Presented in partnership with our friends at the Americas Society, ICP members are invited to join a private tour of Alice Miceli: Projeto Chernobyl on Tuesday, December 3 at 5:30 PM. This exhibition showcases a series of 30 radiographs produced by Miceli between 2006–2010 by using the gamma radiation in the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone. Her powerful work documents the enduring effects of the Soviet nuclear plant explosion of April 26, 1986 and questions our ideas of vision, memory, politics, and environmental issues.
