Join International Center of Photography faculty and alum Abigail Montes and Tiffany Williams for a hands-on imagemaking activity exploring the neighborhood of DUMBO! This workshop is held as part of ICP at Photoville Community Day. Photoville is a free, open-air photo festival that amplifies the voices of visual storytellers and connects them to a worldwide diverse audience.
As we celebrate DUMBO, what are the people, places, and things that make this neighborhood come to life? While learning basic photographic techniques, participants will use whatever imagemaking device they have (smartphone, iPad, camera, etc.) to document what stands out most to them while walking around neighborhoods in DUMBO. The class will meet at the ICP Photoville tent at Pier 1 - Harborview Lawn before beginning their journey. Participants are required to wear a mask or face covering during the workshop.
